Shining Stars Theater Program

Amazing TransformationsPresented in partnership with Amazing Transformations, the Shining Stars Theater Program offers teens and young adults with Autism, PDD, Aspergers, Downs Syndrome, Fragile X, and other developmental disabilities an opportunity to show off their talents, expand their social skills, develop friendships, and build self esteem through a facilitated theatrical experience at our theater.

Participants learn crucial social skills such as cooperation and team work, reading body language, expressing emotions, personal space, perspective taking, and conversational skills, as they prepare for their theatrical debut. Classes are taught by a certified special education teacher with extensive experience and education in theater and performance. ABA therapists are also on hand to assist.

Please check this page for information on future sessions as they become available. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news and information.
